Sound familiar?

Running a coding school shouldn’t feel like a second job

You got into this to teach kids to code, not to chase texts and payments.

7:55 am, Saturday

“Dev’s sick. Who’s taking his 10 am Scratch class?”

Now you’re texting 12 families, one by one.

Start of term

“Who still hasn’t paid term fees?”

Bank transfers, screenshots and awkward chats at pick-up.

Missed class

“Noah has school camp. Can he do a makeup?”

Makeups live in your head or a notebook.

Parent catch-up

“Is Lucas ready to move from Scratch to Python?”

Progress lives in your head, not where parents can see it.

Saturday, 10 am

“Lab 2 is double-booked again.”

Teachers, labs and holiday camps fight for the same slots.

End of term

“She’s lost interest in coding.”

Kids get stuck on a project, lose interest and drift away. You notice too late.

Outcoach handles all of it, built around how coding schools are actually run.
Every way you teach

Every class your school runs, in one place

From a first Scratch game to real Python apps, one system runs them all.

Ages 7 to 16

Weekly classes

Weekly coding classes by age and level, billed by the term.

School holidays

Holiday camps

Day and week-long camps that families book and pay for online, with waitlists built in.

One-on-one

Private classes

Private classes in person or online for kids who want to go further.

Project showcases

End-of-term project showcases, with every student’s projects tracked.

Mix and match. One student, one profile, every format.

How it works

Everything your coding school runs on, in one place

From grouping students to keeping them coming back.

1Set up
01 / 08

Group students by level

Pick your Level 2 Scratch students and turn them into a class linked to Saturday at 10 am. Each profile holds their level, projects and history.

02 / 08

Schedule a whole term in one go

Add a class once, repeat it for 10 weeks, then invite every student in the Level 2 group.

2Every week
03 / 08

Message one parent or every family

Swap a class for a makeup when a parent says their child is sick, or send the demo day invite to every family and see who has read it.

04 / 08

Get paid without awkward chats at pick-up

Term fees, holiday camps, private classes and hackathon entries in one list. Send a reminder with a pay link and watch it turn to Paid.

3Student progress
05 / 08

Give every student a clear goal

“Build a game with a score and a timer.” “Write a Python loop on your own.” Add goals from coding templates and update progress after each class. Parents see it too.

06 / 08

Keep kids coding between classes

Set small coding challenges after each class. Students tick them off at home, so you know who kept going.

07 / 08

Track projects, skills and levels

Log finished projects and level-ups, track skills like loops and variables over time, and share teacher feedback with parents.

4Grow your school
08 / 08

Spot students before they quit

See what is paid and what is owed, and the students who might leave: missed classes, challenges not done, a project that stalled.

From first block of code to real apps, every step tracked

Set goals for every level and see who is ready to move up. Students follow along.

FAQ

Questions coding schools ask us

Can’t see yours? Talk to our team and we’ll show you how it fits your school.

What is Outcoach?
Outcoach is coding class software for teachers, coding schools and franchises. It runs weekly kids’ classes, holiday camps, private classes and project showcases, with online enrolment, term billing, makeups, messaging and student progress in one app, from $0.70 per student a month.
Does it handle weekly classes, camps and privates?
Yes. Run weekly classes by age and level, day and week-long holiday camps, and private classes in person or online side by side. Each student keeps one profile with their level, projects, goals and payments.
How do makeup classs work?
When a family gives notice, the student gets a makeup credit. Families book makeups themselves from open classs in the app, and you set how many makeups each term allows.
Can I bill by the term?
Yes. Send term invoices to every family in one go, offer monthly payment plans and sibling discounts, and add camp fees, private classes or hackathon entries to any invoice. Overdue invoices get reminders with a pay link.
Can I track projects and coding levels?
Yes. Record each student’s level, set goals from coding templates, log finished projects and level-ups, and set coding challenges students tick off at home. Parents see progress in the app.
What happens when a teacher is sick?
Move classs to a cover teacher, or cancel and issue makeup credits. Tell every family at once by SMS and email. Outcoach AI can find the affected classs and do all of this for you from one request.
Can families book a free trial online?
Yes. Publish free trial classes and holiday camps on your own booking page. Families book online, and you can turn a trial into a term enrolment in a click.
Can I manage teachers, labs and locations?
Yes. Assign teachers and labs to every class, cap each class to the laptops you have, see each teacher’s timetable, and manage multiple locations from one dashboard.
Do students and parents get an app?
Yes, and it’s free for them. Students and parents can see classes, book makeups, pay, tick off challenges and read messages from their phone.
Can I run demo days and holiday camps?
Yes. Schedule demo days and camps, invite every family, share links to finished projects, and collect camp fees in the same place.
Is Outcoach only for big coding schools?
No. It works for one teacher running a weekend class, a coding school with many teachers, and franchises with multiple locations. You pay per student, so the cost grows with your school.
How much does Outcoach cost for a coding school?
Plans start from $0.70 per student per month billed yearly, or $0.99 paid monthly. There are no setup costs or hidden fees, and you can cancel anytime.
How do I get started?
Start a free trial and set up your first class in minutes, or book a demo and we’ll walk you through it for your school.
